“As a magician, I think everything is possible. And I think if something is done by one person it can be done by others.” – David Blaine
Birth is magic too.
I had a dream last night that was so vivid I woke up with new stretch marks:
I was in a dull and almost pleasant labor but with a strong urge to push. Something was wrong with the baby’s position however; I could feel the head needed to shift so I got off the bed (I was birthing at Downton Abbey, most likely in Cybil’s bedroom) and walked to the end of it. I stood there and with my baby now free, I pushed and reaching down, pulled my baby into the world. She wore a faint smile and a head of dark hair just like her wakeful brother and sister. I felt triumphant.
