Stay Little Valentine Stay
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I had the bright idea of creating a photo booth for Valentine’s Day but the dim idea of creating it inside my kids’ play structure – essentially a cave with a single strand of fairy lights. I couldn’t let go of the idea however, so I made it work.
This, by the way, is how you should properly make your own photo booth. Very simple – window, daylight, backdrop and reflective surface opposite the window. Do as I say, not as I do. For realsies.
The whole impetus was born of using my Grandmother’s wrapping paper as backdrop, sweet as can be. I’m going to give it to Arlo’s preschool class for their photo booth and expect it will lovingly and appreciatively be torn apart. Life needs living.
Everything in place and with some slight cajoling, my models did their thing!

“Sweetie – turn your head so I can get the sparkle in your eyes.”
“Where is the sparkle? I don’t see it!”
Farrah Star was less interested in expanding her portfolio so I had to shift to another spot. I’m still pleased with the results despite the decapitation. I think she’s studying her big toe here or perhaps considering some new make-out techniques.
Happy Weekend Dear Readers! Hope you do something heartfelt and be sure to seal it with a kiss!
